Practice as Research project (100%)
This project is the culmination of your thinking, practice and work during DPaR DAN020L402A. The format of your project is open but might include a performance, performance-presentation or lecture-demonstration. This should normally be accompanied by a written or digital document making explicit the research context, understandings and concerns. Students are encouraged to experiment with ways of articulating and sharing their research through practice.
Date: Friday 11 December 2015, 09.00 – 18.00. Projects are scheduled for Michaelis Mi131 (upstairs studio), but students are encouraged to investigate sites that are appropriate to their research interests.
Written articulations/supporting materials are due on Monday 14 December 2015 at 14.00. As a rough guide the writing should be about 1500-2000 words.
- Evidence of a multi-faceted investigation of research concerns
- Integration and re/presentation of understandings emerging from personal practice
- Degree to which the form–content of supporting material is appropriate to the project’s central concerns
- Awareness and consideration of relevant PaR and performance research work
